ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 57 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Driver slumped over the wheel of a GMC Sierra on the 300 block of North Westover Boulevard. According to the investigation narrative, 35-year-old Aaron James Hicks "reeked of alcoholic beverages on his breath... ." The only occupant of the Sierra, Hicks' "eyes were bloodshot and glassy." Officers found an open 200-ml- bottle Christian Brothers brandy one third empty and an empty 12-ounce Coors Light can. Hicks refused to take a breath test and was cited for open container and impeding the flow of traffic;

— Drunken driving on the 100 block of North Jackson Street;

— Armed robbery on the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue and the 700 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Burglary on the 2200 block of East Broad Avenue, 500 North Washington Street, the 1200 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 700 block of Mobile Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Slater King Drive, the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of Emily Avenue and the 500 block of North Jackson Street;

— Assault on the 1700 block of Melrose Drive and the 1700 block of Melrose Drive;

— Entering auto on the 3400 block of Bellingham Lane, the first block of Patricia Drive and the 1300 block of Campbell Avenue;

— Battery on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road;

— Theft by taking on the 2000 block of Juniper Drive, the 400 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 800 block of Dorsett Avenue;

— Assault (domestic) on the 900 block of First Avenue;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1600 block of Maryland Drive, the 500 block of Pinson Road, the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue, the 300 block of South Cleveland Avenue and the 700 block of West Third Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least eight calls according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Fraud, a victim on the 2000 block of Radium Springs Road had several accounts, unknown to her, opened at various stores;

— Vehicle crash on the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive.

DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 51 calls on Monday.

There were 37 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and an assist with the Albany Fire Department. Medical Calls and trauma calls included but were not limited to:

— Six chest pain calls, four respiratory issues, three mental health calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, 20 various medical calls, six vehicle crash victims and five falls.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to nine incidents.

— Telephone line down, authorized burn, two electrical shorts, furnace malfunction, vehicle crash, water heater broken pipe, assist EMS and an activated alarm.
