ALBANY -- Mr. T. W. Amos was born April 20, 1943 in Mississippi.
Mr. T. W. Amos accepted Christ at a very early age and served faithfully until his health failed in September 2012.
T. W. Amos departed this life on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Phoebe North. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Levada and George Sanders, three brothers, Berdell Sanders, George Johnson, and Robert Johnson; three sisters, Cora McFarland, Gladys Johnson, and Willie B. Baltimore.
He leaves to cherish his memories a wonderful and loving wife, Elizabeth Amos; four beautiful children, Kametheus Amos, Eraquette Amos, Calvin Amos, and Terlonzo Amos; nine wonderful grandchildren, Demarcus, Treynz, Carlyarnm, Kiara, Zybrianna, Jaquon, Shantaja, Keiadja, and Nyzarnia; eight sisters, Georgia (Alonza) Williams of Greenville, MS, Levada (Early) Peoples of Shreveport, LA, Ernestine Sanders of Greenville, MS, Eva (Henry) Brooks of Itta Benna, MS, Arnetta (Richard) Hobbs, Rosette (Rayfield) Hobbs, Edith Johnson all of Greenville, MS, and Jerline White of Memphis, TN; three brothers, Charlie (Shannon) Sanders of Harvey, IL, George (Blanch) Sanders of Lorman, MS, and Johnny Johnson of Anguilla, MS; a father-in-law, Eddie Redding, Sr.; three sisters-in-law, Florine (Roosevelt) Clemonts, Valerie Redding, and Jospehine Johnson; seven brothers-in-law, Lawrence Redding, Cedric Redding, Ronald Redding, Eddie Redding, Jr., Harold (Quovadis) Redding, Darrell (Kesha) Redding, and Steve (Vanessa) Redding; and a host nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Third Kiokee Baptist Church, 521 Carver Avenue. Interment will follow in the Riverside. Visitation will be held on today, Thursday, December 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 8:30 PM at M. L. King Southside Chapel, 1908 M. L. King, Jr. Dr. The family will receive friends at 402 S.
