Man wanted in Dec. 7 home invasion in custody

ALBANY, Ga. — Gauffrey Alexander Hall turned himself in to Albany Police Department officers at the Law Enforcement Center at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, stated an Albany Police Department email.

Hall has four arrest warrants: armed robbery, burglary, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a crime.

The police wanted to question 27-year-old Hall about a Dec. 7 home invasion on the 900 block of Rood Street. According to a police report, 38-year-old Veronica Byrd "told police that two unknown men came to her home, knocked on her door and robbed her at gunpoint. The men entered her home; stole cash and a Kindle Fire. "
