ALBANY, Ga. -- The former Ordinary Coyote building on Meredyth Drive will be transformed for the second annual Miracle on Sweet Street Monday and Tuesday.
The fund-raising event will be conducted from 6-8 p.m. both Monday and Tuesday to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network. It is sponsored by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Phoebe Foundation.
this year's event is dubbed "A Magical Night of Family Fun" and will featured hundreds of pounds of candy including chocolate, lollipops and cotton candy. Hors d'voeuvres will be served for the adults attending.
"This event was created to bring a one-of-a-kind experience to the children of our community," said Amanda Biery, coordinator of Children's Miracle Network. "It is a lot like Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factor has traveled to south Georgia."
Proceeds will benefit children in Southwest Georgia through children's Miracle Network. Biery said 100 percent of the money raised will remain in the area to treat ill and injured children.
Tickets are $75 for a family of four and $20 for individuals. For more information, call (229) 312-4483.
