WILLIAMSPORT, PA -- William E. Creveling, 90, of South Williamsport, died Thursday, December 13, 2012.
Born March 4, 1922 in Bloomsburg he was a son of the late Hurley and Cecilia Stopper Creveling.
William was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Margaret E. Snyder Creveling, on May 2, 2012. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army
Surviving are his daughters, Ann L. (Tim) Weston of South Williamsport and Kay C. (Ralph) Rodgers of Leesburg, GA, two brothers, Richard (Kay) Creveling of Williamsport and Robert (Kathleen) Creveling of South Williamsport, grandchildren Eric (Kelli) and Whitney Weston and a sister-in-law Lillian Creveling of N.C.
He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Sid Mapes and a brother, Jack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Annunciation Church, 702 West Fourth Street, Williamsport with Rev. David W. Bechtel officiating. A visitation will be held Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street. A private graveside service will be held in Wildwood Cemetery at a later date. www.sandersmortuary.com
