ALBANY, Ga. — Shots fired inside a residence at 727 Andover Lane about 2:20 p.m. Thursday brought Albany Police Department officers to the street and surrounding area.
According to a police report, two black men — one wearing a red shirt, the other a black shirt — drove by 24-year-old Desmon Malone's residence and yelled at him and his visiting cousin, 23-year-old Stacy Malone. A gunman fired shots in the cousins' direction as they attempted to run for cover back inside the brick, ranch-style home. The front door, a storm door and living room wall were hit by bullets.
The suspects left in a dark blue Honda Civic with tinted windows. An investigation continues. Anyone with additional information should call investigations at (229) 431-3288 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477). The Spanish language APD-COP Tip Line is (229) 434-2677.

Stuff like this goes on, and you wonder why people want weapons of their own? Anyone want to bet the guns used weren't legally obtained? So all the registeration and paperwork in the world wouldn't have prevented this shooting.

Okay, I think the two victims were cousins and the shooters were unknown. That makes more sense. After hearing the story on the news last night it became more clearer.
