ALBANY -- Sidney James Clark, 67, of Albany died Thursday December 20, 2012 at Lillian Carter Nursing and Rehab Center in Plains.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 938 Oakland Road, Leesburg with interment to follow in Floral Memory Gardens.
He was the oldest child born to Julius and Maebelle James Clark. He graduated from Monroe High School and entered the United States Army. In 1968, he married Alice Jenkins and to this union three daughters were born. After returning home from the Army, he was employed by Firestone Tire and Rubber company. He retired as a construction worker. He resided in Atlanta, GA from 1992 until his health failed.
He is survived by his former wife, Alice Jenkins Clark; one son Charles E.Reid of Albany; Three daughters, Teresa Ann Myers(Kenneth) of Jacksonville, FL,Juanita Lorraine Clark and Sabrina Michelle Clark of Albany, GA; He also leaves one brother, Julius Clark, Jr. (Gloria); three sisters, Elizabeth Anderson, Linda Clark, Mabelle Baldwin (Eugene);Seven grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter Ms. Juanita Clark, at 421 South Westover Road, Apt # 34.
