DCSS board members to be sworn in today

ALBANY, Ga. — Three Dougherty County School Board members, including the two newest faces on the board, will take their oaths of office today at the Dougherty County Courthouse.

Board Chairman James Bush, Lane Price and Robert Youngblood will be sworn in at a ceremony in Probate Judge Nancy Stephenson's Office at 1 p.m. today.

Youngblood replaces board member David Mashcke who chose not to seek another term. Price defeated incumbent Anita Williams-Brown in the Democratic primary in July and Rev. Lorenzo Heard in the general election in November, to earn a spot on the board.

Lewis: "Board Chairman James Bush, Lane Price and Robert Youngblood will be sworn in at a ceremony in Probate Judge Nancy Stephenson's Office at 1 p.m. today."

See we do have a judge that is working. She sets the best example and runs the best court in the county if not the state.

@bubbasmith....until Velveeta and the Bug are booted, the DCSS will continue to dig their way through the abyss of racism....however , the new board brings HOPE!
