ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 38 incidents Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Driving while license suspended on the 100 block of College Drive and on the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive;
— Interference with a city officer on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of West Residence Avenue and on the 100 block of South Shadowlawn Drive;
— Missing juvenile on the 1400 block of North Davis Street;
— Loitering on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 900 block of Lippitt Drive;
— Obstruction of an officer on the 200 block of Morningside Drive and on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Domestic dispute on the 1500 block of Westwood Drive;
— Assault on the 1200 block of Crawford Drive and on the 1000 block of West Second Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of Palmyra Road and on the 1900 block of Devon Drive;
— Wanted person on the 1000 block of West Fourth Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2200 block of South Madison Street and on the 700 block of West Second Avenue;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1100 block of Inverness Road;
— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Vandalism on the 2100 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Battery on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Simple battery (assault) on the 1300 block of Towering Pines Lane.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Family violence on the 1600 block of Moultrie Road;
— Assault on the 1000 block of Butternut Avenue;
— Theft on the 6000 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Traffic arrest/narcotic investigation on the 600 block of Holly Drive. Officers pulled over John Rice at 3:33 p.m. Thursday after observing he was not properly restrained and detected a marijuana order. Rice was charged with possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), failure to wear a seatbelt and possession of drug-related objects and transported to Dougherty County Jail, reports show.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Thursday and early Friday, available reports show. The incidents included an unknown liquid in a bathtub, authorized and unauthorized burnings, a false fire alarm due to construction on Meredyth Drive, an arching electrical transformer and an overheated heating unit fan motor.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to at least 49 calls on Thursday, available reports show. There were 40 medical calls and nine trauma calls.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, seven miscellaneous pain calls, six respiratory issue calls and 23 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, five falls and two auto accident victims.
