ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 31 incidents Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

According to a police report: Meghan Davis, 20, and Tedesco Mayberry, 35, argued at their residence on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue. The argument turned physical and Davis struck Mayberry with a garden hoe. Davis was booked into Dougherty County Jail on an aggravated assault charge. The case has been turned over to the Family Protection Unit for further investigation. Minor injuries were reported.

— Theft by deception on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 900 block of Hobson Street, the 1600 block of Gardner Drive and the 500 block of Ardmore Lane;

— Entering auto on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive and the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue and the 600 block of North Monroe Street;

— Computer theft on the 2700 block of Dawson Road;

— Battery on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Dog impounded as malnourished, abandoned and chained to a pipe on the 1200 block of Clark Avenue;

— Dogs at large on the 200 block of Monarch Street;

— Simple battery, assault (domestic) on the 800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Terroristic threats and criminal trespass (domestic) on the 1300 block of East First Avenue;

— Simple battery (domestic) on the 400 block of West Highland Avenue, the 100 block of North Cleveland Street and the 200 block of Wingate Avenue;

— Assault domestic on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue and the 1900 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1000 block of Holland Drive, the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 100 block of Almond Drive.

LEE SHERIFF’S OFFICE:

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to at least 40 calls.

— Theft on the 1500 block of Highway 19, the 100 block of Branchview Street, the 800 block of Highway 19 and the 2800 block of Ledo Road;

— Vehicle crash on the 200 block of Northhampton Road and the 100 block of Hickory Grove Road;

— Entering auto on the 100 block of Hartley Lane;

— Domestic on the 100 block of Seminole Avenue;

— Recovered property on the 2700 block of Palmyra Road;

— Child abuse on the 100 block of Pinewood Road;

— Burglary in progress on the 300 block of Willow Lake Drive.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 10 incidents.

— Fireplace fire and smoke damage, unauthorized burn, public safety program, trash truck fire, two activated alarms, trash fire, structure fire out on arrival, grass fire and assist EMS.
