CAMILLA -- David Bruce Burroughs, 57, of Baconton, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his residence in Baconton.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday February 7 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Harper officiating.
Born January 28, 1955, Mr. Burroughs was a veteran of the U. S. Marines.
He was retired from the Arlington, Texas police department.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Burroughs of Baconton; two step-children, Jamie Griner and wife, Sharon of Baconton and Brandi Perry of Tifton; and seven grandchildren, Shyra, Sammy, Christian, Austin, Hailey, Justin, and Joey.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
