engagement of their daughter Deanna Ruth Parker of Newton to Jefferson

Warren Henderson. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby (Joe) Weaver also of

Newton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Henry Parker and the late Mrs.

Ann Parker of Newton, GA, and Mr. Daniel Ray Freeman of Eastman, GA and

the late Mrs. Virginia Freeman. Deanna is a 2007 graduate of Lighthouse

Christian Academy and currently attending Southwest Georgia Technical College

in Thomasville, GA pursuing a degree in Medical Assisting.

The groom- elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Henderson of Newton

and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Weaver, also of Newton. Jeff is the 2004

graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School and a 2009 graduate of the University

of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education.

He then obtained a master’s degree in Mathematics Education from Albany

State University in 2011. He is currently employed as an educator at Colquitt

County High School in Moultrie, GA.

The wedding is planned for March 31, 2012 at Travelers Rest Freewill Baptist

Church in Newton, GA. Formal invites will be mailed.
