Mr. and Mrs. Michael Arrington Whorton of Marietta, GA are pleased to announce

the engagement of their daughter Laurie Elizabeth Whorton of Atlanta,

GA to Clinton Wright Walters also of Atlanta, GA. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Lee Hilsman Walters of Albany, GA.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Perry Whorton

of Marietta, GA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arrie Williamson of Carrollton, GA.

She is a 2002 graduate of George Walton High School in Marietta, GA and a

2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Health

Promotion and Behavior. She graduated from Georgia State University with a

Master of Public Health in 2009. Laurie is employed by WellStar Health System

in Marietta, GA.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. James Ivey Eubanks and the late

Mr. Eubanks of Camilla, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hood Walters

of Albany, Georgia. He is 1999 graduate of Deerfield-Windsor School in Albany,

GA and a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of

Business Administration in Finance. Clint is employed by Renova Partners,

LLC in Atlanta, GA.

The wedding is planned for March 17, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the First United

Methodist Church of Marietta in Marietta, GA.
