One will learn how to wash clothes for 3 cents a load and create your own household cleaners with common ingredients, most already on hand in many homes. A green-cleaning recipe booklet will be distributed.
Other classes coming up are “The Lost Art of Baking” Series: Quick Breads, March 13; Yeast Breads & Rolls, March 20, and cakes, March 27. A Diabetes Cooking School is March15, 22 and 29.
Fees for the class are $10 per person and $12 at the door. (There is no charge for the diabetes cooking sessions.) Pre-registration is required.
