Obviously this squawker wasn't around back then. Bobby Brown already had a documented history as a womanizing drug addict and Whitney was as pure as the clean-driven snow. And beside the point, but worth mentioning -- he already had three illegitimate children.

I lived in Atlanta back then. Bobby and Whitney's marriage was "arranged" to boost both of their careers and to take the eyes of her possible alternative lifestyle.

I do not blame Bobby Brown for Whitney, but she took a big step down hopping into his sack. He is the prime example of what is happening to black boys today. If he is a role model then they are all doomed. Poor Whitney did not stand a chance. And once a druggy always a druggy. Now he creeps out of the woodwork hoping to get our sympathy. He should not even be mentioned in context to her for he is past history.
