ALBANY -- Nathaniel Edge, 68, of Albany died on February 13, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on February 18, 2012 at Eureka Baptist Church at 11 a.m.

Nathan leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Mattie P. Edge; two daughters, Ms. Tisa LaDray Edge of Irving, TX and Mrs. Sabrina Lavette Jones of Albany; one son, Mr. Kerry Stephon Nichols, St. Petersburg, FL; three brothers: Dr. Bill (Elois) Edge, Sr., Mr. Willie B. Edge, and Mr. Bobby Walker of Bradenton, FL; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley (Wayne) Mathis and Mrs. Juanita (Rev. Carl, Sr.) White; a very, very special grandson, Cameron Jones; a host of in-laws including his mother-in-law, Mrs. Eula Prince (the late Mr. Albert Prince); sisters-in-law, Mrs. Betty (Anno) Harris, Mrs. Retha (John) Dowdell, Mrs. DeLois (Karl) Wilson, Dorothy Jean Queenie, and Mrs. Barbara (John) Boone, all of Americus, Mrs. Anna (Rev. Marcelious) Willis, Leslie; brother-in-laws, Mr. Albert Prince and Mr. Johnnie Prince, Belglade, FL, Mr. Oscar (Bernice) Prince, Mr. Sampson Prince, Mr. David (Mary)-- Prince, Mr. Ernest (Barbara) Prince, and Mr. James Prince, all of Americus; two special cousins, Mrs. Juanita Parson and Ms. Lucindy Malone both of Brooklyn, NY; one notable God-son, Michael Woodard of Albany; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
