ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 10 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Public indecency, saggy pants, on the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue;
— Public indecency, urinating against a wall, on the 2100 block of Tompkins Avenue;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 700 block of West Society Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard. Vehicle recovered on the 800 block of North Davis Street and arrest made;
— Vandalism (domestic) on the 800 block of Holland Drive;
— Assaults (domestic) on the 1600 block of Beverly Avenue and the 1800 block of Sycamore Court;
— Battery (domestic) on the 2300 block of West Garden Avenue;
— Domestic disturbance (unfounded) on the 500 block of Cochran Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 61 calls on Wednesday, including 49 medical calls, 10 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical calls included four for chest pain, six respiratory issues, one person fainted, one diabetic issue, three seizures, two obstetrics calls, two mental health calls, three miscellaneous pain calls and 27 various medical calls. Trauma calls included four vehicle crash victims, three falls, one laceration, one fight/assault and one other trauma. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 29 incidents Wednesday, including four false alarms, four fire safety programs, a woodland stump fire, a vehicle fire, two trash can fires, leaves on fire, a bush on fire that damaged siding on a house, three EMS assists, three activated alarms, a grass fire, two structure fires with $130,000 and $400 in damage, respectively, two unattended cooking calls, a power line down, an unauthorized burn and two smoke odor investigations.
