TIFTON, Ga. — Shelton R. Floyd, 60, of Tifton, was arrested and charged with child molestation Thursday by Tift County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Floyd, who was employed by Upon Eagles Wings Daycare, is in Tift County Jail with no bond set, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman said.
Deputies were told of Floyd’s inappropriate contact with children while the 3- to 10-year-old children were in the day care’s van and at the 334 E. Golden Road day care Monday, a report stated. The report added that the investigation continues and additional charges are expected.
