THOMASVILLE -- Services for Ella Mae Alligood Wilkerson, 89, of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Southside Baptist Church in Camilla. Interment will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens and Cemetery in Early County. The Rev. Neal Hager, pastor at Southside Baptist Church in Camilla and Rev. Frank Lamb will officiate. Mrs. Wilkerson died Feb. 13 at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville. Born Oct. 25, 1922, in Hopeful, Ga., she is the daughter of the late Lee Esker Lamb and Lethie Harrell Lamb. She was married to James Robert Alligood, John Berry and Lester Wilkerson, all of whom preceded her in death. She was a florist at Linda's Flower Shop in Blakely. Active in the Golden Olympics, she taught aerobics at Cotton Point Apartments in Camilla. She loved working with flowers, playing cards, working in her garden and was affectionately called "Gana" by her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Blanche Alligood Lastinger of Thomasville; two grandchildren, Mark Lastinger, Kimberly Lastinger McCray and husband, Barry, all of Thomasville; great-grandchildren Megan Lastinger Conway and husband, Stephen; Blake Lastinger, Laura McCray, William McCray; and siblings Louie Lamb, Frank Lamb Sr., Clyde Lamb Sharp and Annette Lamb Rooks. She was preceded in death by siblings W.L. Lamb, Harold Lamb, Emory Lamb, Red Lamb and Felton Lamb. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
