Leesburg Lee County Elementary School, 185 Firetower Road, is conducting its 10th annual Spring Fling at 10 a.m. Saturday. This community event is a fundraiser for the elementary school.
The event will include carnival booths, a rock wall and a bungee bounce. Concessions will be available for those who want lunch or a snack.
The students of the school will participate in a talent show in the cafeteria that will begin at 10 a.m. Throughout the day, the school will be running an auction of school-related certificates, large gift baskets, and gift certificates and merchandise from local businesses. Two of the top auction items this year to will be four-day passes to Disney World and a Keurig Coffee Maker.
In addition to the auction items and games there will be several first responder vehicles for touring.
Admission to the Spring Fling is free. Ticket and ticket packets for the carnival games will cost $1-$20.
The event will take place rain or shine.
