Rodeo rides in at ABAC

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will host its Gee Haw Whoa Back rodeo on March 2-3 at the ABAC rodeo arena. Each round starts at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m.

The rodeo is part of the ABAC Alumni Weekend celebration at the college.

Events will include saddle bronco riding, bareback riding, bull riding, team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, break-away roping and barrel racing.

Other attractions at the rodeo will be mechanical bull riding, a rock climbing wall and pony rides. Clubs will also feature face-painting and photos can be taken by guests with the rodeo bull mascot. Vendors will also be on hand to sell, hats, t-shirts and leather goods.

Admission is $10, 13 years and older; $5, 6-12 years; free to 5 years and younger and to students with a Gold Card.
