ASHBURN -- Funeral services for Jennette "Jenny" Youngblood Swinford, 53, of Heflin, AL who died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Anniston, AL will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Turner County, GA.
Mrs. Swinford was born in Macon, GA, the daughter of the late John I. Youngblood, Jr. and Jessie Lee Crowe Youngblood of Macon, GA. She was a homemaker and housewife and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church/ She was a former long time resident of Ashburn before moving to Heflin four years ago. She loved caring for her pets.
She is survived by her husband, Steven S. Swinford of Heflin, AL; her mother, Jessie C. Youngblood of Macon, GA; three step-children, Jason Swinford, Stephanie Waters both of Newnan, GA, and Jessica Sparks of McDonough, GA. Also surviving are five step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Ashburn First Baptist Church.
