Police/Fire/EMS report for Feb. 25, 2012

ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 25 incidents Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

—Entering auto on the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue, 700 block of Georgetown Drive, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 300 block of Thornwood Drive and the 300 and 400 block of Vintage Road;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 100 block of Bridge Lane;

— Theft by taking on the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue;

— Forgery on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;

— Battery on the 1700 block of Maryland Drive;

— Aggravated assault, a fight on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Battery (domestic) on the 1400 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 700 block of Andrew Lane, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue;


The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 58 calls on Thursday.

There were 42 medical calls and 16 trauma calls. Medical Calls: Eight chest pain, 12 respiratory issues, one diabetic issue, two mental health calls, four miscellaneous pain calls and 15 various medical; Trauma calls: Four vehicle crash victims, Eight falls, one laceration, one eye injury and one other trauma. .464
