DOT schedules sign work at S.R. 234 at Byron Ridge Road

Georgia DOT crews have rescheduled sign work at the intersection of S.R. 234 and Byron Ridge Road in Dougherty County. Work is planned between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, weather permitting.

Upgrades will include the following; Overhead installation of a straight-only-arrow sign and relocation of the existing S.R. 234 route sign.

  • Installation of a "RIGHT TURN ONLY" sign on the right shoulder of the road.
  • Relocation of the existing "RIGHT TURN MUST TURN RIGHT" sign.

A single lane closure and/or flagmen may be utilized during this work. Motorists should reduce their speed in these maintenance work zones.
