ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 36 incidents Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Soliciting money from persons in vehicles in the roadway;
-- Theft by taking on the 3600 block of Club Drive, the 1600 block of Estelle Street, the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue, the 100 block of Force Drive and the 200 block of Garden Hill Road;
-- Reported stalking on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
-- Recovered property, a gun on the 2600 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Burglary on the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue and the 400 block of Heard Avenue;
-- Entering auto on the 1900 block of North Monroe Street;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 500 block of West Ninth Avenue;
-- Injured person on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;
-- Sexual battery on the 1900 block of South Madison Street;
-- Theft by deception on the 1300 block of West Whitney Avenue;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 1700 block of Dawson Road and the 400 block of Hickory Lane;
-- Domestic violence on the 800 block of North Whitney Avenue;
-- Property damage (domestic) on the 2600 block of South Washington Street;
-- Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of West Gordon Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1100 block of Newton Road, 400 block of Jeffries Avenue and the 2200 block of Lionel Lane.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 10 calls Monday, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Family violence (verbal) on the 1500 block of Canary Lane and the 800 block of Community Avenue;
-- Theft on the 1600 block of Liberty Expressway (wallet, cash and cell phone stolen out of vehicle);
-- Crime prevention, 400 block of County Line Road (resident noticed neighbor's door open).
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 68 calls on Monday.
There were 46 medical calls, 20 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical Calls included four chest pains, 10 respiratory issues, one fainting, one seizure, one obstetrics, two mental health calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one cardiac arrest and 24 various medical. Trauma calls included 15 vehicle crash victims, four falls and one other trauma. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
LEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to at least 25 calls including:
-- Assault on the 100 block of Winding Way;
-- Fraud on the 200 block of Sportsmans Club Road;
-- Theft on the 100 block of Davis Lane;
-- Trespassing on the 100 block of Fowler Drive;
-- Animal bites, dog bite reported on the 800 block of Philema Road;
-- Animal call, cow in roadway on the 300 block of Pinewood Road.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 10 incidents Monday, including activated alarm, vehicle fire, extrication of man from vehicle, public service assist physically disabled man, electrical short, vehicle crash, unattended cooking, two EMS assists and a structure fire with $22,000 in damage to a kitchen and two adjoining rooms.
