ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 42 incidents Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Bomb threat (no bomb) on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue. All dorms and premises were cleared by officers and Albany Fire Department firefighters and the case is under investigation.
-- Indecent exposure, saggy pants on the 300 block of East Broad Avenue;
-- Entering auto on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;
--Burglary on the 2600 block of Sylvester Road, the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive, the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 600 block of Kingsbury Lane, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
-- Theft by taking on the 200 block of Residence Avenue, the 2700 block of Dawson Road, the 500 block of Vintage Road and the 2700 block of Meredyth Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of North Washington Street and the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard;
-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Simple battery on the 1600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
-- Confinement of animals on the 500 block of Vintage Road;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 2000 block of Newton Road;
-- Assault, vandalism (domestic) on the 1600 block of Beverly Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 700 block of 10th Avenue and the 1700 block of West Gordon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to seven calls Tuesday, including:
-- Criminal trespass warning on the 3000 block of Countryside Drive;
-- Missing person supplemental report (juvenile returned home) on the 3700 block of War Eagle Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 55 calls on Tuesday.
There were 42 medical calls, 11 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical Calls: Three chest pains, five respiratory issues, a faintings, two diabetic issues, one obstetrics, one mental health calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, a cardiac arrest call, a choking call and 25 various medical; trauma calls: one vehicle crash victim, five falls, one laceration and two fights/assaults and two other trauma calls. Other type calls are typically medical alerts or standby.
LEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to at least 25 calls.
-- Ordinance violation on the 100 block of Wisteria Lane, the 300 block of Creekside Drive and the 200 block of North Doublegate Drive;
-- Harassment call on the 1200 block of Forrester Parkway;
-- Burglary on the 100 block of Brookfair Lane;
-- Trespassing on the 100 block of Lumpkin Road;
-- Animal calls, cow in roadway on the 300 block of Pinewood Road near Jordan Road;
-- Vehicle crash on the 800 block of Lovers Lane Road;
-- Domestic on the 1400 block of Highway 19;
-- Reckless driving on Oakland Plantation Road headed to Palmyra Road;
-- Road hazard on the 900 block of Forrester Parkway;
-- Assault on the 100 block of Pinewood Road;
-- Fraud on the 100 block of Autumn Leaf Drive.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 13 calls, including:
-- A bomb threat called into dispatch at 1:33 a.m. Firefighters responded to Turner Job Corps, 2000 Schilling Avenue. There was no bomb. Firefighters and Albany Police Department officers cleared the scene.
-- Two EMS assists, unauthorized burning, clothes smoldering in a van's cargo area, vehicle fire, vehicle crash, two grass fires, unauthorized burning, two active alarms and a false alarm.
