ALBANY — The Parks at Chehaw, 105 Chehaw Park Road, will present for the 19th year the Frontier Festival Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
The festival showcases the special talents and abilities of people who enjoy the sorts of primitive crafts that were necessary for survival in the frontier. Demonstrations will take place by reenactors in period clothing, who do crafts such as woodworking and blacksmithing.
The foods and crafts that are prepared at the festival will be for sale to patrons.
All festival events are outdoors, so festival organizers encourage those attending to dress according to weather conditions.
Fees for the event are $8.75. Children 3 and under are free. For information, call (229) 430-5275 or go to chehaw.org.
