BLAKELY -- Will Eubanks, 32, of Jacksonville, Fl., died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 in Jacksonville, Fl. as a result of a small plane crash near Craig Airport. His funeral will be held Thursday morning Jan. 5, 2012 at 11 AM in the Edison Baptist Church with Elder Lamar Burkett and Rev. David Crowdis officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery with Rev. Keith Gaines officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 7 until 9 PM at the funeral home. Active Pallbearers will be: Jake Ford, Jamie Crozier, Eric Eubanks, Lance Eubanks, Eric Kimbrel, Wes Williams, Matt Harrell, Stephen Atkinson, Ben Moseley and Al Mathis. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ernie Ford, Mack Kimbrel, Mike Williams, Marion Lane, Branden Lane, Charles Mathis and members of the Class of 1997 from S. G. A.- Damascus, Ga.
Will was born Jan. 26, 1979 in Albany Ga. to the late Ronnie Jones Eubanks and Jan Glisson Eubanks of Valdosta, Ga. He was a pilot for Beach Banners, Inc. in Jacksonville, Fl. He attended the Georgia Aviation School in Eastman, Ga.,the Embry-Riddle Aviation School in Daytona Beach, Fl. and he graduated from the Arizona Aviation School in Mesa, AR. He was a graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy, the Class of 1997.
His survivors include his mother, Jan Glisson Eubanks of Valdosta, Ga., a brother, Joel Eubanks and his wife Alison of Valdosta, Ga. and niece Mary Alison, 2 sisters, Rhonda Green of Tifton, Ga. and nephew Cody, Heather Thompson & her husband Spencer of Columbus, IN and niece Stella and his Maternal Grandmother, Virginia Glisson of Waynesboro, Ga.
