ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 20 incidents Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Interference with government property on the 2100 block of McAdams Road;
— Entering auto on the first block of Wayne Way;
— Wanted person for motor vehicle theft on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglaries on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street, the 1500 block of Rena Avenue and the 500 block of Jeffries Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1000 block of West Broad Street;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1200 block of North Jefferson Street;
— Recovered motor vehicle on the 2500 block of Nottingham Way;
— Animal at large on the 100 block of Moultrie Road;
— Three abandoned dogs on the 1600 block of Gardener Drive;
— Open container on the 500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive and the 100 block of East Roosevelt Avenue.
LEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE: The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to at least 31 calls Wednesday. Incidents included:
— Vehicle crash on the 100 block of the Leesburg Bypass;
— Burglary on the 100 block of Fussell Road;
— Frauds on the 1200 block of U.S. Highway 19 and the 1900 block of Philema Road;
— Recovered property, a firearm, on the 1000 block of Philema Road;
— Terroristic threats on the 100 block of Springlake Drive;
— Disturbances on the 100 block of Fortner Court and the 100 block of North Doublegate Drive;
— Prowler on the 700 block of Winifred Road.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 13 incidents Wednesday, including two structure fires, $6,000 in damages to a residence and $15,000 to another, EMS assist, motor vehicle crash, two yard debris fires, a smoke odor, trash burning in a barrel, a grass fire, an electric short, two false alarms and an activated alarm.
