ALBANY — Wanted for shooting a woman in the leg on New Year’s Day, 38-year-old Cedric Demond Pittmon is considered armed and dangerous, an Albany Police Department report stated.
At about 4:10 a.m. Jan. 1, Robin Lashonda Brown, 31, suffered a gunshot to the left leg as she and three other people left an apartment at 303 Slater King Drive after an intruder burst into the apartment and opened fire, the report said.
The police are searching for Pittmon in connection with the shooting, APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks said. She added that Pittmon should be avoided if spotted.
“If you see Pittmon, do not approach him,” Banks said. “Call 911 or the Albany Police Department.”
