ALBANY - David Barnes was gunned down while on Tifton’s Washington Street before 5:20 p.m. Saturday, according to initial Georgia Bureau of Investigation reports.
There were witnesses to the shooting, but no suspects have been positively identified as of 9 p.m. Saturday. No motive for the murder was immediately available.
Barnes’ age was not immediately available. He lived at 611 E. Golden Road, the report added. The investigation is continuing through the night.
