ALBANY — Identity theft is a common problem in the country and Southwest Georgia. To educate the public on how to protect against identity theft the Albany Police Department and the Albany Chamber of Commerce plan to host an educational presentation on the crime by the LifeLock company.
The presentation is scheduled for noon Jan. 23 in the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau, 112 N. Front St. Another session is scheduled for 6 p.m. the same day at the Law Enforcement Center’s Community Room, 201 W. Oglethorpe Blvd.
