APD reports stabbing, assault

ALBANY -- Officers are searching for 31-year-old Lecorey Sharod Walker in connection with a stabbing at 1308 Hobson St., Apt. 47, at about 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to officers with the Albany Police Department report.

Walker was described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 168 pounds and having brown eyes by the report. His last known address was 3127 Plains Lane.

According to Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman, Walker was identified as an intruder who broke into 25-year-old Shunkela Williams' apartment and began fighting with 22-year-old Roger Lewis.

Lewis' cousin, 19-year-old Lewis Burke, heard the fight and joined in the struggle with Walker, Banks added. Walker apparently stabbed Burke in the chest and upper back with an unidentified object and fled, she added.

An about 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, an assault at 608 Moultrie Road sent 43-year-old Ernest Brown Jr. to the hospital while putting 33-year-old Konterrious Jackson in Dougherty County Jail charged with aggravated assault, stated a police report.

According to the report, Jackson kicked in an interior door, grabbed a bit of the broken doorframe and hit 24-year-old Kerteria Linkhorn in the head. Jackson also hit Linkhorn's boyfriend in the hand.
