ALBANY -- Annie Lee Williams was born November 28, 1941 to the late Larry and Annie Mae Young in St. Petersburg, FL.

She departed this life December 30, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial in Albany, GA. At a very young age she moved to Midville, GA with her mother. Early in life she confessed Christ and joined the Third Chapel Baptist Church in Midville, GA. She moved to Miami, Fl at the age of thirteen. She joined the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, FL in the sixties under the leadership of Rev. P. W. Williams, Pastor Moderator. She was a faithful member for many years. She was a member of the Missionary Department, Young Matrons, Assistant Secretary, Choir, Pastor's Aide Club, B.T.U., and assisted the Youth Director.

Mrs. Williams attended school at Booker T. Washington in Miami, FL and graduated in 1960. She met and married Elisha Spaulding. To this union five children was born. She was employed at Dade County School Transportation as a school bus driver for fourteen years until she was later promoted as a Route Specialist until she retired in 1999.

In January of 2000 she married Rev. John Paul Williams. To this union no children were born. In 2001 she and Rev. Williams relocated to Newton, GA. She joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on September 19, 1999 under the leadership of Rev. Hezikiah B. Johnson, Jr. She was a member of the Minister's Wives', Deaconess, Mission Circle #1, a cook for the Outreach Mission and a member of the Golden Voices of Friendship. Mrs. Williams was also a Bus Rider for the Friendship Child Care Learning Center.

She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and loving husband, Rev. John Paul Williams; three sons: James L. Spaulding of Columbus, GA., Troy (Tonya) Spaulding both of Miami, FL. Michael Spaulding of Newton, GA, one daughter Siteria Spaulding Lattimore of Miami, FL., six stepchildren; Reginald (Penny) Spaulding of Sylvania, GA, John A. (Tonya) Williams, Daisy A. Williams, Tina (Carl) Hatton, Kathy L. Williams, Daryle (Felicia) Williams all of Miami, FL, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one aunt Rosetta Benefield of Midville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 400 Pine Avenue. The interment will be on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Midville, Georgia. Visitation will be held today, Saturday, January 13, 2011 from 9:30 AM until 8:30 PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 1868 Pretoria Road I Newton.
