ALBANY -- Kirshawn Beshae Lockett, 17, is wanted in connection with a Dec. 2 burglary at 1805 W. Oglethorpe Blvd., a police report stated.
According to reports, investigators are searching for Lockett in connection with a burglary that left another suspected burglar shot in the shoulder by a friend of the victim. Cameron Jones shot 19-year-old Adonis Warren with a .40-caliber Glock as he left the residence of Shanique Brewer.
Brewer had come home to find a white Ford Crown Victoria in her driveway with the engine running and two intruders inside her home. Brewer called Jones, who rushed over to find the intruders running out the back door.
Jones opened fire with the Glock, hitting the car several times. One bullet hit Warren in the shoulder, he stumbled around the corner where police apprehended him. Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman, said that Lockett is the intruder who got away. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 130-140 pounds.
