ALBANY -- Irene Stripling Hubble Davis, 100, formerly of Albany, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Perry, GA.

Her funeral service will be Saturday 2 PM at Crown Hill Mausoleum Chapel with interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Roland Fall will officiate.

Mrs. Davis was born in Crisp County, GA to the late Charles Edward Stripling and Florie Mae Taylor Stripling. She had lived in Albany most of her life, moving to Perry in 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. P. Hubble.

She is survived by her daughter: Iris Hubble Tedders (Louis), Perry, GA; 3 grandchildren: Julie Simpson, Perry, GA, Phillip Tedders, Perry, GA, Stuart Tedders, Statesboro, GA; 6 great-grandchildren: Erin Royal, Sydney Simpson, Jeremy Simpson, Walker Paul Tedders, Mercer Tedders, Meri Pate Tedders; 3 great-great grandchildren: Victor Zermeno, Aaliyah Zermeno, Emilia Royal; a sister: Joan Bass, Atlanta.

The family will receive friends at Crown Hill Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday prior to the service from 1 PM until 2 PM.
