ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 28 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Lennox Street, the 1000 block of Wingate Avenue and the 1600 block of Elva Street;
— Entering auto on the 600 block of Kingsbury Lane, the 2000 block of Palmyra Road, the 200 block of West Tift Avenue and the 1900 block of Gillionville Avenue;
— Motor vehicle theft on the 1800 block of Samford Drive;
— Recovered property, three fishing rods on the 400 block of Hudson Lane (alley), a bicycle on the 1500 block of 10th Avenue (alley);
— Burglary on the 1500 block of Pine Crest Drive;
— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Interfering with city officer on the 500 block of College Drive;
— Remaining on business property after hours on the 1400 block of Madison Street;
— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 1900 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Sexual assault (domestic) on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 500 block of Odom Avenue, the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue, the 1700 block of West Oakridge and the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 17 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Theft under $500 on the 2200 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Burglary on the 400 block of Holly Drive;
— Theft of less than $200, two bicycles on the 2300 block of Betty's Drive;
LEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to at least 32 calls, including:
— Vehicle crash on the 3000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1200 block of Highway 32, the 100 block of Pelham Drive and the 800 block of Highway 82;
— Identity theft on the 200 block of Longleaf Drive;
— Fraud on the 100 block of Southill Drive;
— Juvenile problem on the 100 block of Winding Way;
— Trespassing on the 300 block of Middle Road;
— Burglary on the 300 block of North Doublegate Drive;
— Road hazard on the 1500 block of Chokee Road;
— Stolen vehicle on the 1500 block of Highway 19;
— Theft on the 100 block of Stilwell Circle;
— Domestic on the 100 block of Big Oak Road;
— Structure fire on the 100 block of Tabatha Street.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 14 incidents, including motor vehicle crash, two gas odors, grass fire, electrical short, two bomb threats, fire safety class, two false alarms, barrel fire, active alarm, cardiac arrest and light pole down with wires.
