Homeless man found asleep in car charged

A homeless man tried to leave the 1996 Honda Accord he slept in, only to have the car’s owner, Thomas McCray, 55, slam the door on him at 4:50 a.m. Friday, keeping him in custody for Albany Police Department officers on the 400 block of West Whitney Avenue.
