ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Herald received notice from City Clerk Sonja Tolbert Friday that the Albany City Commission’s night meeting this week has been moved from tonight to Wednesday.
The meeting will start at 8 p.m. at the Government Center at 222 Pine Ave. with the pre-briefing to start at 7. Both are open to the public.
The meeting was moved, according to city officials, because several commissioners had spent much of last week in Atlanta talking with state legislators and wouldn’t be back in time for tonight’s meeting.
