Following your logic, lets close the Dougherty County Public School System for the falsified free lunch applications. After all, this was no more an illegal ploy to get additional federal funds. It had to be known by the school board--oh wait, different situation. A member of the school board committed this crime! Oh wait, I forgot--the CHEATING on the CRCT. That was just an illegaly ploy to get additional federal funds, it had to be know by the school board. Close the school system!

I am sorry, but you can't get the ASU supporters out to protest this, most of them can't read the paper, or a book, or magazine. These kids have been cheated out of an education by the same people pretending to be educators.

Remember Rams, the devil does not determine your destiny. Those on the outside who are jealous of your success will exaggerate, lie, and try to manipulate your thinking. Dont be fooled.....your are better than that....

VSU 2 years, 8 months ago

I'm no fan of Albany State by any stretch of the imagination and could care less one way or the other, but even I admit for someone to say ASU should close down is a bit much.

VSU-----hey man...I'm starting to gain some respect for you. I appreciate the honest responses. I dont like VSU either, but if someone said they need to close down over some exaggerated petty crap like this, I would come to VSU's defense also. Keep up the good work......

ASU graduates' diplomas have no credibility due to the University's terrible reputation. Coach Johnson, why would you dislike VSU?

I think they should abandon the HBC stigma and market non-blacks to enroll.

If they were to seriously audit the Pell Grant, Student Loans, Hope and the use of Grant funded Schlorships they would close every institution of Higher Learning. Heck it isn't beyond even our Congressman to misdirect those Schlorship funds. This problem definately isn't only an ASU problem. It is a Higher Education Problem on most every level. Wasn't the Federal Government investigating these on line schools advertising on TV, the Intranet and in the Printed Media? They sure quieted down quick didn't it? Pre-"K" isn't doing that bad with HOPE either.

So your point is that every Institution of Higher Learning is somehow scamming the system?

Hey Waltspecht, whats up with Darton's problems over there?

Am I seeing things???? Darton College did what??? In the April, 2011 audit report finds Darton College has possibly leaked some sensitive information......Down right reckless behavior.....weak security....pitiful..... In the report, officials with the Board of Regents for the University System of Georgia noted gaps in Darton policies related to document management, data transfers, network security and various other policies and procedures.

The report noted that Darton's networking infrastructure was lacking to the degree that a "hostile network user could potentially intercept information transmitted through the campus network and exploit content."

"These (transfer) sessions transmitted personal, medical, and credit card information to and from various applications, and were not in regulatory compliance," the report states.

Are you kidding me??? Darton did what?????? Nooooooo....Not good ole Darton!!! Noooooooooo
