ALBANY -- According to an Albany Police Department report, Jarrell Stroud, 17, walked north on the 1300 block of 10th Avenue at about 2 a.m. Wednesday toward Hoover Street when a black, four-door car pulled up and stopped. A black man with dreadlocks fired several shots at Stroud from the, hitting him in the upper right leg. The car took off.
The case remains under investigation.
