Internet political rumors hitting in-boxes again

Here we go again, another election year when my in-box contains “news” such as the one received this week with the well-known, respected name of Diane Sawyer supposedly reporting on three major U.S. bridge construction projects being awarded to China with President Obama’s blessing! The word “shocking” is repeated seven times with the alleged “news” broadcast by news anchors on a major network.

My response mailed to my dear friend responsible for forwarding this virulent non-truth:

Please exercise your right to be a truth seeker!

This email is being circulated by big money with but one thought — to replace President Obama with their bought and paid-for candidate! There is no validity to any of these claims. I Googled these projects, and it came as no surprise to discover that these projects were in place by the states in which they were planned, before Barack Obama was even on the scene!

A quote from 2008 about the Bay bridge construction:

“Despite the American union complaints, former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a Republican, strongly backed the project and even visited Zhenhua’s plant last September, praising “the workers that are building our Bay Bridge.”

I feel we owe it to ourselves to not be so gullible. We have correct information at our fingertips. If we blindly accept and believe the stuff coming at us this election year, we should really not only be enraged, but insulted. Dianne Sawyer should go after these blatant liars for attempting to use her name to perpetuate outlandish untruths. Go to Factcheck.org if you want the truth! Do not pass along these viral attempts by a certain party, paid for with blood money, to regain control of the country we love, one that was all but totally destroyed by the previous administration.

I have noticed that since Washington DC has had a power outage, my Spam Folder is empty. Normally it has fifteen or more entries. Now 2 whole days with nothing. Maybe I have located the local of the source of this stuff?

"....such as the one received this week with the well-known, respected name of Diane Sawyer supposedly reporting on three major U.S. bridge construction projects..."

The story was reported by Chris Cuomo, on a SHOW called "World News with Diane Sawyer". Diane Sawyer did NOT report on this. Mr. Heldenberg, writing misinformation like this is how internet political rumors get started.

I wonder what would happen in the USA if the flow of steel from China was suddenly cut off ?

Yep, and if T-SPLOST is voted in expect more "imported laborers" constructing the transportation projects.
