ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department needs the public's assistance with locating a missing man.
Calvin Sims, 59, has been missing from the Friendship Personal Care Home, located at 723 W. Oglethorpe Blvd. , since 6:38 a.m. on Sunday, police say.
Sims was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt and blue jeans. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and suffers from dementia. He may be trying to get back home to Dawson or to Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany, where he believes he has a home, officials say.
Anyone who has information on Sims' whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477), or they can contact the APD Investigative Division at (229) 431-3288.
