ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responds to at least 70 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and on the 500 block of South Jackson Street;
— Theft by taking on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue and on the 400 block of North Washington Street;
— Burglary in the first degree on the 500 block of Endicott Lane and on the 400 block of Alice Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and on the 200 block of Cone Street;
— Entering auto on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue and on the 500 block of South McKinley Street;
— Assault (domestic violence) on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Misuse of 911 on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and on the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Burglary in the second degree on the 1600 block of South Jefferson Street;
— Aggravated assault, battery on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Identity fraud on the 2600 block of Palmyra Road;
— Probation violation warrant on the 1200 block of Gillespie Avenue and on the 2200 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Interfering with a city officer on the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Saggy pants on the 700 block of West Second Avenue and on the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue;
— Vandalism on the 2700 block of Yorktown Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 1900 block of Palmyra Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 10 calls on Sunday, available reports show. The reports included:
— Burglary of a business on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Family violence (verbal) on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 27 calls from Friday through the early hours of Monday, reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, a Dumpster fire, shorted electrical equipment, grass fires, a carbon monoxide incident, a fireworks incident and a structural fire on North Haley Street.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 44 calls on Sunday. There were 30 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and one assistance call for the Albany Fire Department.
The medical calls included, but were not limited to, five respiratory issue calls, two chest pain calls and 19 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, two auto accident victims and six traumatic injuries.
