Robbie Feagans' three-run homer led the way for Leesburg, which is now 2-1 in region play against Post 30 this season.
Randolph So.’s Ragan added to All-Area Track Team after inadvertent omission
SHELLMAN — Randolph Southern’s Madison Ragan was inadvertently omitted from The Herald’s recently released All-Area Girls Track & Field team.
Ragan won the shot put title and discus title in the GISA Class A girls state track & field meet, and she also set a state record for her class in the discus with a throw of 112 feet and six inches.
The team was released two weeks ago, but the omission was just discovered this week.
The Herald regrets the error and congratulates Ragan on a tremendous sophomore season, as well as wishing her all the best in her future athletic endeavors.
