SYLVESTER -- Mr. Robert "Monk" Moody Willis, 82, of Crescent City, FL died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Willis, Rev. Jeff Parmer and Rev. DeWayne Willis officiating.
Mr. Willis was born on January 19, 1930 to the late Benjamin Franklin and Ruby Bass Willis in Bridgeboro. He has lived in Crescent City, FL for the past 15 years. Mr. Willis was a self employed contractor and was a member of South Putnam Baptist Church in Crescent City, FL.
Survivors include his sons, Steve Willis (Eva) of Eustis, FL, Ronnie S. Willis (Daniele) of Augusta, David (Willis) Howe (Sherry) of Albany; daughter, Debbie W. Faivre (Larry) of Crescent City, FL; brothers, Winburn Willis of Edison, George Willis of Mitchell County, Harris Willis of Poulan; sister, Laura Gunn of Columbus; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and his companion, Lucky.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service hour at Banks Funeral Home.
