ALBANY -- Thinking about a career in medicine? If so, "What's Up, Doc? What You Need to Know About Medical School" may appeal to you.
The interactive forum, led by some of the top decision makers at Georgia medical school admissions' offices, will provide the public with what they need to know about pursuing a medical career.
Participants will learn what it takes to get into medical school and have the opportunity to have specific questions answered during the live event Thursday.
Participants will learn about Georgia medical schools, including tips on how to improve an application. Those attending will have an opportunity to meet some of the decision makers at Georgia medical school admissions' offices.
The program will be 1:45-4 p.m. July 19 at Phoebe Northwest Conference Center, 2336 Dawson Road. To reserve a seat or register for the webcast, call Jan Shiver at (229) 439-7185.
