CAMILLA -- Frances Smith Robinson, 64, of Pelham, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Rev. Carl Stokes will officiate.
Pallbearers will include Casey Glover, Brooks Davis, Yancey Howell, Ansley Smith, Lane Morrell, Kerry Branch, Shell Smith, and Bunkey Tyson.
Born August 4, 1947 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Dowell "L.D." Smith and Alsace Lorraine Waters Smith.
She attended Norman Park College, Georgia Southern College, Andrew College, and University of Georgia, where she received her Masters Degree.
She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 40 years in Warner Robins School, Thomas Technical College, and Pelham School System. Mrs.
Robinson was a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Donald T. Robinson of Pelham; two sons, Sterling Brett Robinson and fiance, Kathy, of Pelham and Lance Robinson and friend, Christy, of Pelham; a sister-in-law, Linda Smith of Albany.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 20 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
