Police/Fire/EMS - July 24, 2012

ALBANY -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 70 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, reports indicate. The incidents included:

-- Burglary in the 1st degree on the 100 block of Force Drive and on the 600 block of Willard Avenue;

-- Aggravated assault on the 100 block of Talafax Road;

-- Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 500 block of Ebony Lane and on the 1500 block of Campbell Avenue;

-- Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 1700 block of Edgerly Avenue and on the 600 block of 10th Avenue;

-- Criminal trespass on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 600 block of North Madison Street;

-- Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of McIntosh Road and on the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;

-- Harassing phone calls on the 2500 block of South Jackson Street;

-- Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road and on the 2500 block of Cherokee Drive;

-- Rape on the 2100 block of McAdams Road;

-- Theft by taking on the 1300 block of East Roosevelt Avenue and on the 2300 block of Sharon Drive;

-- Driving on a suspended license on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue and on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Vandalism on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street;

-- Missing person on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Entering auto on the 400 block of West Fourth Avenue and on the 1200 block of West Eighth Avenue;

-- Person soliciting a ride or business on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Theft by deception on the 2300 block of Dawson Road;

-- Assault on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

-- Interference with a city officer on the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive;

-- Lost, mislaid property on the 1200 block of West Highland Avenue;

-- Open container on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and on the 1600 block of Greenvale Road;

-- Simple battery on the 1000 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

-- Injured person on the 200 block of Cason Street;

-- Terroristic threats on the 600 block of Tulsa Lane;

-- Simple battery, interference with an emergency phone call on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to a least 28 calls Saturday and Sunday, available records show. The incidents included:

-- Family violence on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

-- Traffic accident on the 800 block of Putney Avenue and on the 1000 block of Old Pretoria Road;

-- Harassing phone calls on the 1600 block of Williamsburg Road;

-- Missing person on the 1900 block of Cordele Road;

-- Simple battery, terroristic threats and acts on the 100 block of Donerail Lane.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 53 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 47 medical calls and six trauma calls.

The medical calls included, but were not limited to, five respiratory calls, five mental health calls, three cardiac arrest calls and 21 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, two falls and one auto accident victim.
