Squawk of the Day - July 30, 2012

Accountability key for schools. Mr. Knighton, where have you been? I agree with you 100 percent. I hope the school board members will answer your questions. How much longer are we going to allow these asinine things to happen ? When are you going to develop a cohesive plan that everyone is working from?

For more squawks, pick up a copy of today's Albany Herald.

Knighton HAS to be way out ahead of the pack in the running for Albany Herald Man of the Year. I don't see anybody catching him at this point. Well done, sir!!

I APPLAUD MR. KNIGHTON FOR SPEAKING THE MIND OF MANY BLACK FOLK BUT CANNOT OR WILL NOT. HIS STATMENTS, COMING FROM A BLACK MAN AND IN DIRECT OPPOSITION TO THE CURRENT SOP JUST MIGHT BRING THE CULPRITS FEET CLOSER TO THE FIRE.

Look at your teenager and what are they doing? Every 5 minutes they are looking at their cell phone to see text messages. Bet they do not make it thru supper. They are also doing this in the classroom. Take away that damn cell phone and you will see grades turn around. They are in bondage to them.

The clarity and truth of Mr. Knighton's article was refreshing to read.

I know this is off the subject, but I was just reading Murfree's resume as posted online and it says he is License Eligible - Board of Examiners - Georgia. What in the world does that mean? Does he or does he not have any type license.....??? Does he not even have a teaching license? He sure tries to make himself look good by listing all these certificates, etc., but as the old lady said in the Wendy's ad back in the 80's......WHERE'S THE BEEF?

This Vitae' is mostly manure. To begin with half the words are misspelled beginning with VITAE and license. You would really have to check with the institutions of higher education to see if he has met the criteria to sit for a license exam but something tells me no one has. The "license eligible" is not a Board of Examiners' category. It possibly indicates he can take the test or apply for the license, if it's true he has the degrees in the required subjects. It gives him absolutely no bona fides, nada, zip. Outside of ASU and DCSS this document wouldn't get him an interview. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

I guess you are right, it is pathetic. It looks as tho ASU is nothing more than a diploma mill with such distinguished grads as #34. I cannot believe the Board did this to the students of DoCo...shame on them.

All these groups seem to have ONE THING in common. Can you guess what it is?
